- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with City of Dublin, P.O. Box 690, Dublin, GA 31040 for providing a physically redundant, minimum of 15 megabytes/33 megabytes burst of bandwidth to the Internet, a 24 port 10/100/1000 Cisco switch with two high density gigabit ports for the connections to the VA public interface. The contractor must also provide fiber located at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Dublin, GA for a period of October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004, plus two option years. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 518111 with a standard size of $21.0 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 10 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax 478-274-5539, 478-274-5601 or 706-481-6741. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Solicitation will be issued on or about September 2, 2003.
