- Description
- The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York, Syracuse, VA Medical Center is seeking a qualified, responsible firm with the capability to provide Technical and Professional Personnel on site service at the VA Medical Center, Syracuse, NY a Mobile Magnetic Resonance Scanning System that shall be a high resolution, whole body imaging system. A device of 1.5 Tesla is required. The unit shall contain its own environmental control equipment, plumbing and emergency power generating equipment (for environmental purposes only). It shall be capable of reconstruction techniques needed to provide multi-planar images of anatomical structure. The system shall image in the sagittal, coronal, axial, oblique and double oblique planes, using various pulse sequences and it must be dicom compatible. It should include: a dock-able patient transport with IV pole, patient positioning and comfort accessories, a camera system for making hard copies (film); a computer with flexible simultaneous processing capability, high performance array processor, disk storage medium for storage and Digital Audio Tape for long term storage. Service Five (5) day per week is required. Proposals will be solicited for the Base Year requirement and One (1) Six (6) month government renewal option. Solicitation packages will be available o/a August 22, 2003.
