- Description
- The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) intends to procure on a sole source basis membership is the Integrated Manufacturing Technology Initiative (IMTI). The intended contractor?s address is IMTI, PO Box 5296, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This sole source procurement is based on 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) which states that supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source. The NNSA Nuclear Weapons complex has significant programs in nondestructive evaluation (NDE) and continuing need for improved NDE technology and expertise in production and research. This membership permits NNSA to work with IMTI members, other companies, government agencies, universities, consortia, industry associations, and other organizations to create and guide collaborative R&D programs that address critical manufacturing technology needs and opportunities. The membership allows NNSA to share in the creation of roadmaps. In addition the membership serves as a focal point for information and analysis of crosscutting needs, solutions and developments. The period of the membership will be for two years from date of award. The closing date to receive proposed from other sources is 15 days from the date of this notice.
