Description

The National Ocean Service (NOS) has a requirement for contractual support of the Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System (PORTS) in the Chesapeake Bay. Contractor shall operate, maintain and repair five buoy mounted current measurement systems and two horizontally mounted shore based current measurement systems; perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of nine water level measurement systems; operate, maintain and repair six meteorological systems; operate maintain and repair one conductivity/temperature sensor; operate, maintain and repair two bridge mounted air gap sensors; operate, maintain and repair one visibility sensor. All instruments and additional required components of the current measurement systems, as well as all necessary spare components and specialized test equipment required to assure reliable operations of the entire PORTS shall be provided by NOS. Period of performance is 1 year with four option years. The NAICS Code is 541990 and the size standard is $6.0 million. Standard Classification code is J058. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
