Description
The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance Logistics Command Atlantic, Norfolk, VA intends to issue a sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) purchase order to Adrick Marine Corporation, North Massapequa, NY. The purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. The period of performance will be 5-years. The nomenclature is Duplex Marine Packaged Chilled Water Air Conditioning Units, Model AD304-DCW used on the Coast Guard?s 210 Cutters. Adrick Marine is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Air Conditioning Systems. Award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 ? Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government shall order a minimum quantity of 2 each of the total estimated quantity of 19 each. Adrick Marine is the sole design authority and holds the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications and data rights. Manufacturer's specifications are not available and a solicitation will not be issued. The Coast Guard intends to solicit only with Adrick Marine. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed IDIQ purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
