- Item 0001 Noun: Case and Nozzle Assembly NSN: 2840-01-319-7015NY P/N: 1288M61G04 Appl to: TF39 ENGINE A 3-year requirements type contract with a one-year basic period and two one-year options is anticipated. Total Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for the basic and two options is 294 each. Estimated Qty: Basic year - 34 each, Option I - 83 each, Option II - 79 each. Approved Sources: General Electric Company (CAGE: 07482), CTL Aerospace (CAGE: 07554) Destination: To Be Determined at Time of Delivery The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 15 May 2003. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 13 June 2003. The anticipated award date will be 01 September 2003. Note: Faxed solicitation requests can be submitted to the buyer, Tiffany Bellard, Tinker AFB, (405) 734-8101. This proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clauses 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms listed. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.
