- This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information Included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) No 921673. The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 7622 and the NAICS Code is 811213. The Food and Drug Administration intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Custom Business Products for the following software: (1) Quantity 10 EasyLobby SVM 6.0 Software Seat Licenses with these features ODBC compliant support for Oracle and SQL Server databases, Advanced Application Programming Interface (API) for easy integrating with any Access Control, HR, or CRM application, Ability to automatically capture visitor information by reading the magstripe or 2D barcode on a driver?s license, support for capturing visitor photos and signatures electronically, and Create contractor and visiting employee badges that can be used for multi-day check in and check out. (2) Quantity 10 IntelliCheck License Reader. (3) Quantity 10 Canon i850 color printer. (4) Quantity 10,000 Visitor Badges 4x6 with one perf for color printer. (5) Quantity 500 Visitor Badge Holders with clips. (6) Training, Installation and Badge Design. The software will be shipped to the following FDA sites 6751 Stegar Drive, Cincinnati Ohio 45237, 1431 Harbor Bay Parkway Alameda CA 94502, 22201 23rd Drive SE Bothell WA 98021, 11630 West 80th Lenexa, KS 66214 and 60 8th Street NE Atlanta GA 30309. The following FAR Clauses shall apply to this solicitation: FAR Part 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications, and 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirement shall submit written quotations by mail or fax 301/827-7039. Evaluation/Award will be based on the technically acceptable quote that offers the best value to the government. The solicitation is issued on a sole source basis because the software is proprietary to the contractor with no other known resellers in the DC, Maryland Virginia area.
