- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment, Washington, DC intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price contract to Kongsberg Satellite Services in Norway for satellite images on behalf of the Naval Ice Center, Washington, DC for support of worldwide operational sea ice analysis and forecasts for the armed forces of the Department of Defense, DOD, and allied nations, the Department of Commerce, DOC, Department of Transportation, DOT, other U.S. government and international agencies, and the civil sector. The award is to consist of a one year base period. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. SEE NOTE 22. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) for this requirement is D317. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 513310. A solicitation is not available for this requirement.
