- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-03-Q-5972. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following Sun Microsystems equipment: Item 0001 Sun Blade 150 workstation, 650 MHz, 256MB RAM, with Solaris 8 P/N A41-UTA19C-256M-BA quantity of 15. Item 0002 256MB Memory Expansion P/N X6180A quantity of 15. Item 0003 21" FD Trinitron color Monitor P/N X7146A quantity of 3. Item 0004 UNIX style Keyboard with USB Connector P/N X3538A quantity of 3. Item 0005 Sun ATM 155/Mfiber PCI Adapter 4.0 P/n X1157A quantity of 3. Item 0006 Duel Channel single -ended Ultra SCSI Adapter w/Cables P/N X6540A quantity of 3. Itme 0007 StorEdge DDS-3 Tape Drive P/N SG-XTAP4MM-011A quantity of 3. Item 0008 3COM Office connect Dual speed Hub 8 P/N 3C16753-US quantity of 3. No substitutions to the above brand and models are allowed. Required delivery is ASAP after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 334119; size standard is 1,000 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies.
