- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following item on a Brand name or equal basis: One (1) Sabtech Industries Navy Tactical Data System, model number BA-SP011-00, NIA-II Portable, 2 ?CH. The system provided shall have the following performance characteristics: (a) must be a portable unit (b) must interface to NTDS Parallel types A,B,C,H and Serial type D or E (c) must have a 10/-100 Mbits/sec Ethernet port (d) must have data viewable in hex, octal, binary, or ASCII (e) must capture data with 125ns resolution for time stamping (f) must be upgradeable to monitor up to 3 NTDS I/O channels concurrently (g) must be able to trigger on first word, specific word/mask combination, or word type (h) must be able to show time stamping viewing based on trigger offset, and delta time between words (i) capability to save and restore system trigger, and capture configurations (j) multiple printing options based on selection, range and page of captured data (k) ability to capture and display control frame information for NTDS Serial (l) export capability to excel or ASCII format (m) remote control capability (n) free GUI viewer to view capture file(s) on any PC (windows based) (o) media storage - removable hard drives and CD-RW. The unit shall include a transition box with cable. This must be a passive tap box that is inserted between 2 NTDS devices. The cables must be pin for pin compatible with Antares 4001 Parallel NTDS board connectors. A cable for connection to the NTDS analyzer must also be provided. All items will include the manufacturer?s standard commercial warranty. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All items are to be priced FOB Destination, Dahlgren VA. Delive ry shall be 90 days after award. Award is anticipated to be no later than 8 September 2003. If quoting on other than the Brand name specified above, clearly indicate what brand name is being offered and provide descriptive literature that demonstrates that the proposed product is equal. The Government will award a purchase order to the responsible contractor whose offer conforms to this notice, meets/exceeds all the specification for each item, can meet the required delivery schedule, has a satisfactory performance history and is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. Electronic quote submission is encouraged at XDS13@nswc.navy.mil, but the quote may also be faxed to (540) 653-6810 or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, XDS139, Bldg 183, Room 106, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 referencing RFQ N00178-03-Q-3033 on all documentation. Responses are due by 29 August 2003.
