- Description
- The National Park Service (NPS), Gateway National Recreation Area intends to negotiate and award a contract with only one source. We intend to contract with Biological Mediation Systems, Inc., P.O. Box 8248, Fort Collins CO 80526. The purposed procurement is for one prefabricated six stall toilet building, all inclusive and ready to use, delivered and installed at Fire Island NS, William Floyd Estate, Mastic Beach, NY. The building must be Suffic county code compliant and meet ADA standards, be vandal resistant, have easily cleanable interior surfaces, wall/ceiling hung partitions, and have standard flush fixtures. Plumbing limits are 5' from exterior of structure. The National Park Service believes there is only one responsible source and have found no other manufacturer will satisfy the agency's requirement listed above. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. Firms believing they can provide the required item are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer. They must, however, provide supporting evidence they can furnish the requested item at a cost that will not exceed the total transaction cost, will not violate any patents, and submit a quote for consideration no later than 15 days from the published date of this synopsis announcement. NAICS code is 237990. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
