- THE AIR FORCE WILL ISSUE A REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT TO PURCHASE AN ELEVATOR TOOL ASSEMBLY WITH A BASIC ORDER OF ONE (1) AND TWO (2) ONE YEAR OPTIONS WITH QUANTITY RANGES OF 1 TO 4 AND TWO (2) ONE YEAR "SURGE" OPTIONS WITH QUANTITY RANGES OF 1 TO 4. SPECIAL FEATURES: ATTACHES TO THE ELEVATOR AND STABLIZER AT ELEVATOR STATION 70.38 AND USED TO HOLD ELEVATOR IN ANY POSITION DURING MAINTENANCE.
