MODIFICATION NOTICE: RFQ F34601-03-Q-0319 IS CANCELLED AND THE REQUIREMENT FOR THIS ITEM WILL BE INCLUDED ON RFP F34601-03-R-0486 FOR A QUANTITY OF 3328 EACH. Item: 0001 NSN: 2840-00-757-5107 P/N: 6871352 Noun: 2nd Stage Vane - 7 Item Description: Receives hot gases from the 1st stage turbine rotor blade and redirects it to the 2nd stage turbine blade. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Steel alloy, corrosion and heat resistant Size Dimension: 3? x 4? x 5? Applicable to: T-56-7B Destination: Tinker AFB OK 73145-9013, FB2039 OC-ALC Delivery: 50 per month beginning Oct 2003 Qty: 1340 Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. NEW AND UNUSED SURPLUS MAY BE ACCEPTABLE. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 06 May 03. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 05 Jun 2003. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
