- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA/NWS Office of Hydrologic Development intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Ilex Engineering, Inc. of Elkridge, MD to provide, install and support a Domestic Satellite (DOMSAT) receiver and data processing system. This is an end-to-end operational environment for acquiring and processing DCP data which is relayed via GE Americom's AMC-4 Domestic Satellite program. Vendors who believe they can satisfy the Government's requirements are invited to submit a capability statement. To be considered a capability statement, vendors must submit written data and documentation which demonstrates a knowledge of and close familiarity with the previously mentioned receivers and data processing systems. This is a notice of intent and cannot be considered a solicitation; therefore, no solicitation package exists. Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. See Note 22.
