- This solicitation is for an indefinite quantity type contract for the procurement of part-numbered items as well as competitive items in which Pall Aeropower(cage 18350)is an approved source, and/or has supplied in the past(directly or through dealers),whether or not the NSNs are ultimately provided from Pall Aeropower.There are now a total of 418 NSNs and part numbered items identified to date and available for download under the "Acquisitins Downloads"menu item on DSCC Internet Bid Board Systems(DIBBS)under subject heading http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. Access is directly available by accessing http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp. Solicitation by issuance of amendment 0001 will now include 218 S9C managed and 200 S9G managed NSNs. Awards will be made on an all or none basis on a NSN by NSN basis. There is a potential for split awards. Each NSN will be evaluated separately. Various quantities, units of issue and required deliveries with shipment to military customers in the continental United States(CONUS), outside of the continental United States(OCONUS)and Foreign Military Sales. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s):9,12 and 26. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of Aug 25, 2003 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. Availability of drawings. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. The applicable drawings are available at http://dibb.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. If the drawings are not posted at this web site, see Clause L07-Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. NSNs in solicitation with AMSC of G or B) There are 12 additional NSNs managed by S9G with AMSC of B that are included in subject solicitation:1650010136023,1650010900015,1650011955307, 1650013405255,1660011091010,2915011643915,6620011520931, 6620011805855,6620011976277,6685011136896,6685011444378 and 6685012088641. Specifications,plans or drawings are not available.(Applies to items with AMSC of A,C,D, H,P,R and L). The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The totalk duration(base plus option years)shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class:2590,2910,2940,3040,4310,4320,4330,4440,4710,4730,4810,4820, 4825,5930 and 5950. This acquisition is for supplies for which the government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved sources are listed on the aforementioned web site. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award deicision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery,partperformance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Date has been changed from 29 Aug 2003 and extended to 09 Oct 2003.
