Description

Work consists of, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and all miscellaneous requirements needed to perform all operations in conjunction with the effort to install a new chain link fence/gate and security lighting around the tank mounds at Facility 4034. All work required by the plans and specifications shall be accomplished by the contractor even though minor items required may not be specifically mentioned in the above listing. This is an Invitation For Bid (IFB); award will be made to the lowest bid price. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The proposed contract herein is restricted to all qualified HUBZone certified small business concerns. All responsible bidders must be CCR registered to be considered for award. The bid opening date will be on or about Jul 31, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Instructions for submission of bids will be contained in the solicitation package. Request for the solicitation package will only be honored by e-mail or facsimile. Prospective bidders shall submit the request to Mr. Elliott Alfonso, e-mail: Elliott.Alfonso@homestead.af.mil and a courtesy copy to Ms. Gwendolyn Rackley at Gwendolyn.Rackley@homestead.af.mil, for inclusion on the bidder list or via facsimile (305) 224-7055. NOTE: the request must include: company name, address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, point of contact and identify if the company has other designated size standards besides HUBZone (i.e., small business, Woman Owned, 8(a), Disabled Veteran). The response date cited above is an estimate, not an actual. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
