- Description
- The U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the replacement of 26 existing dock roll-up doors with new doors at the Santa Barbara P&DC in Goleta, CA. Only one trade will be involved in the task, a qualified overhead door contractor capable of properly executing and phasing the work. The work is to be completed in 60 days after notice to proceed. Estimated range is $110,000-$130,000. This is an owned facility. The proposal must contain the offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance, and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. The minority subcontracting goal for this contract will be 11%. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at 9:00 A.M. on September 2, 2003 at the project site. Attendance is mandatory. Offers will not be publicly opened.
