- NA The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDEC) plans to award a contract to Ball Aerospace Systems: Defense Hardware; Commercial Space, 1600 Commerce Street, PO Box 1062, Boulder, CO 8036-1062 for research a nd development efforts in three parts. (1) An analysis of the technology previously developed in order to modify it into an array of elements which covers the desired frequencey ranges and meets other performance paramenters. (2) The development of enginee ring prototype antenna elements which meet the specificed performance requirements. (3) The building and testing of flyable antenna elements. See Numbered Note 22 and Note 26. This RFP is restricted to Ball Aerospace due to a determination that Ball Aerospace is the only responsible source to satisfy agency requirements.
