Description

NA While we intend that the solicitation documents be posted prior to the date of the preproposal conference there is always a chance they they might not make it, therefore, if you would like an advance copy of the statement of work please send me an e-mail a t vincent.suarez@netcom.army.mil. The following is provided to assist in making your preparations for the site visit. FLIGHTS: best into Colorado Springs. Limited flights into Pueblo. Can fly to Denver and get connections but generally much less flight choice. DRIVE: leaving Colorado Springs Airport, drive toward mountains approx. 2 mi. to intersection with Academy Blvd - turn SOUTH (left) Proceed approx 5 miles to I-25, SOUTH (left). Pueblo travel distance about 45 miles. Most accommodations are at northern edge of Pueblo, near EagleRidge exit (Sam's Club, American Furniture, etc. are on left side of highway at that exit). Day's Inn, Wyndha m Inn, Hampton Inn, are in that area and others near the next exit, 50/State 47. Most eateries are at 50/47 area. Pueblo Chemical is approximately 15 miles due east of I-25 on 50 East, off exit 100, the La Junta exit. there is a marked overpass 8 miles beyond the Pueblo airport. We are the end of the road. CURTIS If in a rental auto, must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance / vehicle rental paperwork. Expect to register and placard the vehicle at the gate and security checks (allow 10-20 minutes for checkin - no weapons or hazardous materials.) Direct ions to the gathering site: from the main gate proceed up the hill to a T intersection, turn right. Proceed past the next stop 1-1/2 blocks to a large parking area on the left, beyond a large anchor chain barrier. Building 6 is the theater-type building ac ross the road south. Signs will be posted.
