Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F33601-03-T- 0180, is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. This requirement is TO PROCURE (50) Bomb Resistant Waste Receptacles, SIC Code 3499, NAICS Code 332439, Size Standard 500 Employees. The following are specifications: Explosive resistant waste receptacles need to be designed to provide superior protection against blast and fragment effects caused by a wide range of explosive devices (up to 12 lbs of TNT or equivalent). They need to be designed to absorb lateral blast energy and contain all lateral explosive fragmentation. Residual blast energy needs to be vented upwards. The container lid must also remain attached to the receptacle during all explosive tests. General Specifications: Dimensions: Diameter: = 29" Height: = 37.5" Weight = Under 2000 lbs Protective Criteria: 12 lbs. Explosive Weight Capacity Trash Capacity = 40 gallons Color: Laminated Exterior Ivory or Alabaster Delivery is required no later than (None specified, deliver ASAP), please submit estimated delivery with quotation.
