- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii) Solicitation F44600-03-T-0022 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. (iii) The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09. (iv) The NAICS code is 334310 with a size standard, averaged over a one-year period of 500 Employees. (v) Langley AFB plans to procure on a sole source basis, from Xicom Technology Systems. Xicom Technology holds the sole license for the sale of XTRD-750K, HIGH POWER AMPLIFIER Description: Ku-band rack mount amplifier covering the 13.75 to 14.5 GHz frequency rante. TWT output Power 750 W, 650 W at the flange. Integral variable gain preamplifier, digital serial interface, receive and harmonic filers. (vi) The following requirements are applicable: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide the software license for the Xicom Technolgy High Amplifier (vii) Delivery: Performance Period will be 30 days after receipt of order.
