- Description
- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with AGFA Corporation to furnish and install an additional workstation to the two existing AGFA computerized radiology systems located at the Hines VA Hospital, Hines, IL. and the Chicago Health Care System (Westside Division), Chicago, IL. NAICS: 532490. The government believes that AGFA Corporation is the only vendor who can provide the needed add-on equipment that will be compatible with the existing unit. This Notice of Intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 7 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how they can meet the VA requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC-GLAC, Building 5, 5000 W. National Ave. Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. If no responses are received within the period indicated, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with the AGFA Corporation.
