Description
Through a Reverse Auction under Invitation for Bid (IFB) CC-03-08, the National Institutes of Health will purchase alcohol preppads, swabsticks,various dressing and disposable plastic items for the Materials Management Department of the Clinical Center in accordance with the salient characteristics delineated in the subject solicitation Requests for the IFB must be via e-mail to the Contracting Officer at Aargaman@cc.nih.gov or via fax to the Contracting Officer at (301) 594-5920. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR ELECTRONIC OR HARD COPIES OF THE IFB WILL BE ACCEPTED. Award will be made by the Government for these items on an all or none basis in each category of items. The Government may make multiple contract awards for this requirement. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery (requirements) type contract will be awarded for a period of one year with four 12-month option periods. The IFB will be issued on or about approximately September 15, 2003. A copy of this Invitation for Bid will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov or vendors who are unable to download the solicitation may request a copy of the solicitation in writing from the Contracting Officer. Closing date for responses is approximately 30 calendar days after issuance of the IFB. All other concerns regarding specifications or other aspects of the solicitation are to be directed to the Contracting Officer at the e-mail address above prior to the due date and time scheduled for initial submissions
