- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement for Tree Thinning and Removal of sawlog and biomass material on the Lakeside Ranger District. The project covers approximately 418 acres, with approximately 8,832 tons to be removed, which shall include erosion control and road haul maintenance. The Government anticipates awarding a Performance Based Service Contract (PBSC) with a Firm Fixed-Price. Award will be based on the successful offeror's proposal that provides the best value to the Government with consideration accomplish the work. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business size standard is $5.0 Million under NAICS code 115310. A Pre-Bid/Site Visit will be scheduled and announced in the RFQ package. The solicitation package, plans, and specifications will be made available on or after August 18, 2003, and will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. No Telephone requests for solicitation packages will be accepted. You may request printed copy of the solicitation package by Fax to: (928) 333-6362. The last day to request solicitation packages shall be September 10, 2003. The Closing Date for responses to the RFQ R3-01-03-74 shall be September 17, 2003, 4:30 p.m. Arizona Time.
