- Contractor to perform services as Organist and Musical Director for the base Chapel at the United States Coast Guard Training Center, Cape May, New Jersey. Contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, transportation, and supervision necessary to lead a recruit choir of over 100 members in traditional and contemporary Christian and patriotic music. Contractor should be well versed in Protestant worship styles and should be comfortable playing in worship services. Contractor must have a wide musical range from youth oriented chorus music to liturgical music. The position requires individual to lead choir practice each Saturday evening from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm and play for Protestant worship at 8:15 am each Sunday. Person must be prepared to perform additional choir rehearsals and to lead choir in off-base performances during the Christmas and Easter holiday seasons. An additional ten (10) to fifteen (15) performances may be required. A minimum of two (2) days notice will be given for these performances. The period of performance of this contract shall be from date of award through 30 September 2004 with an additional four (4) 12- month option periods, if exercised, not to exceed beyond 30 September 2008. This solicitation is a request for quotation and is issued as a 100% small business set-aside under the Standard Industrial Classification code - 7929, NAICS code - 711130, and the related Small Business Standard - $6.0 million. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the United States Coast Guard. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award.
