Description
The Woman?s Skirt, Poly/Cotton White #3052 NSN 8410-01-318-1590(s) and Woman?s Skirt, 100% Polyester, White #3006 NSN 8410-01-372-1656(s) will be made in accordance with MIL-S-29629. This acquisition is for an IDTC with a minimum quantity of 56,272 each and a maximum quantity of 84,432 each, plus four (4) one year term options with the same quantities. The Woman?s Skirt, Poly/Cotton White #3052 and the Woman?s Skirt, 100% Polyester, White #3006, will be delivered to New Cumberland, PA depot. Deliveries will start 150 days after award with three (3) delivery increments every three months applicable to the delivery order. This acquisition will also be issued on a total Small Business Set-Aside basis. Anticipated issuance date is September 8, 2003. All responsible sources may submit offers to be considered by DSCP. This acquisition will also contain DOMESTIC RESTRICTIONS, which means that all components and all manufacturing must be obtained/performed within the United States. See numbered notes 1,9,26. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home AFTER September 8, 2003. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Gateway technical assistance is available at admin_support@pgmail.daps.mil. DSCP has developed a web-based system that allows manufacturers the ability to request specifications, patterns and drawings on our contracting page http://ct.dscp.dla.mil/Contracting/. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
