Description

DESC: The United States Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources to consider in an award of a purchase order for : 1. Rudder Hub Casting Mold, manufacturered 1 ea. 210 Rudder Hub Casting Mold as per CG Dwg. 627 wmec-562-002, 1 each. 2. 210 Rudder Trailing Edge casting mold, manufacture 01 ea. 210 rudder trailing edge casting mold as per cg dwg. 627wmec-562-003. Contractor to be responsible for design tolerances. 1 each 3. 210 Rudder Hub Castings, rudder hub casting shall be made from ASTM A27 /grade 60-30 class 2, standard spec. for steel casting, reference CG DWG. 4 each 4. 210 Rudder Trailing Edge Castings, trailing edge castings to be made from ASTM A27/grade 60-30, class 2, std. Spec. for steel castings. 4 each. The contractor must be knowledgeable and have a track record of accomplishments in providing these items. Dwgs and the Request for Quotation will be distributed upon request. Delivery will be F.O.B Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Yard. You are required to respond within 5 days of this announcement.
