Description

NONPERSONAL SERVICES TO include all labor, material, parts, and travel for on- site preventive and remedial maintenance on a VARIAN GEN II MOD MOLECULAR BEAM EXITAXY (MBE) SYSTEM FOR one base year with four 1-year option periods. Equipment is located at AFRL/MLPS, Sensors Materials Branch, at Wright- Patterson AFB Ohio. The NAICS Code is 333295 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. This is a Sole Source procurement. Synopsis published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1. The proposed source is Applied EPI, Inc., 4900 Constellation Dr., St Paul, MN. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See local note H.
