- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared IAW FAR 12.6 and supplemented with additional information as included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number FA2543-03-Q-0015 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. This advertised acquisition is 100% small business set-aside with North American Industrial Classification System Code 332312, and size standard 500 employees. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. 460 CONS/LGCA, Buckley AFB, CO, has a requirement for purchase of the following: Line item 0001: Mezzanine. Free Standing 14’ x 22’, deck height 9’1-1/8” with 8’ clearance. 1-1/8” tongue and grove (T&G) plywood decking, painted gray, load capacity 125 # per square foot, installed 6”from all walls, and attached to the floor. Must meet all OSHA requirements and be engineer stamped certification on the AS Built Drawings. Standard warranties shall apply. To be prefabricated off site and assembled on sight. Only 120 volt AC power is provided on site. Quantity: 1 EA. Statement of Work: The SOW is available by contacting the persons listed below. All interested parties must request a SOW prior to the site visit. Delivery: Estimate Delivery Date 30 days ARO (at receipt of order). Warranty: Contractor shall submit all applicable warranty information. Location: building 1606, Fire House #2, Buckley AFB, Aurora Co. 80012. Site Visit: A site visit has been scheduled for 26 August 2003 at 2PM Mountain Daylight Time. All interested parties must provide a list of person(s) name, date of birth, Social Security Number, and driver license number to the Contracting Office 72 hours prior to the scheduled visit. Drivers license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance will be required to gain entry to Buckley AFB. You will need to check in at the Visitor Center at the 6th Avenue Gate no later than 1:30 PM. No other visit will be scheduled. In addition, the following clauses are also applicable to this acquisition:. DFAR 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-applicable to Defense acquisitions of commercial items, 252.7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their quote in accordance with standard commercial practices, but must include the following information: Company’s complete mailing and remittance address, discounts for prompt payment, if any (e.g. 1% 10 days), the company’s CAGE Code, Dun & Bradstreet number, and Taxpayer ID number. The government intends to make a single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is the most advantageous to the government considering price only. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency.
