- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-20. The solicitation number is for F34601-04-Q-52508. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). Closing date for quotations will be received at the issuing office until 3:00 PM 15 Sep 03. Source(s) is/are (Cage 63005) Rolls Royce Corp, Indianapolis IN. Size/Dimension: diameter: 12.648 inches minimum and 12.652 inches maximum; special features: 89 dovetail slots equally spaced; predominate material: steel; AMS 5708 except solution heat treated at 1950 degrees plus or minus 25 degrees F ; applicable to the T-56-A-15 engine. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336412. This is a requirement for Line Item 0001; NSN: 2840-00-012-7065OJ. Noun: 3rd stage turbine wheel –15. Form/Fit/Function: 3rd stage wheel of the turbine module. The turbine module section takes the gases and air after it exits the combustion chambers and converts it into kinetic energy to drive the compressor, reduction gear, and propeller. Qty: 22 ea; P/N; 6845593; government and commercial surplus is acceptable. Items must be new/unused and manufactured by Rolls Royce. Certification of manufacturer is required. Assets must be in their original packaging and meet all required inspection and testing criteria outlined in the 2J-T5-53. Place of delivery and acceptance is: FB2039/Tinker AFB. Required delivery schedule(s) is/are as follows: 22 ea at 4 ea per month; 05 March – 05 Aug 04 (4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 2 = 22). Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001.
