Description

NA SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. Anniston Army Depot is seeking companies who have the capability to provide a complete automated personnel accountability system. It will be used to record information on employees as they enter or exit the depot probably using R adio Frequency technology. It must be capable of reading the information stored on an employee badge or card issued by the contractor from a distance of 50 feet or less. Data should be recorded and processed on a contractor-provided internet accessible s ite in real time. The system must read the information as employees pass through designated check points on foot or in vehicles, and must be capable of making up to 10 reads at one time to accommodate car pool situations. The system must be capable of acc urately recording the information at speeds high and accurate enough so as not to slow traffic as it enters and exits the depot under normal and emergency situations. Readers should be stationery, not hand-held. Up to five checkpoints or points of entry must be served. Estimated number of employees is 3000. Interested companies are requested to provide brochures, literature, published prices lists, contact name and number, not later than 25 Aug 03. Companies may be asked to provide a physical demonstration at Anniston Army Depot. Information must be submit ted electronically.
