- Description
- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to solicit only one source, Endevco Corporation, for a requirement of brand name Pressure Transducers, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Market research has demonstrated that for this specific requirement only Endevco Pressure transducers meet the agency's needs for pressure measurement in a severe high temperature environment and are 100% compatible as a viable replacement with the same physical, electrical, and response characteristics. This Firm Fixed Price procurement is conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposal. Qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after 20 August 2003 will be considered nonresponsive and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement on a full and open competition basis upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
