- Marine Corps Systems Command Industry Day. "Partnership for Excellence and Innovation" Monday, September 15, 2003 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel, 2799 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia 22202. In the morning session, flag level speakers will address the impact of defense transformation on the Marine Corps' current and future operating capabilities, acquisition practices, and the role of industry. The afternoon sessions are an opportunity to learn more about Systems Command?s transformation, and business opportunities with the Command. These briefings will be presented by the seven Systems Command product groups, Information Systems and Infrastructure, Battlespace Management and Air Defense Systems, MAGTF-C4ISR, Infantry Weapons Systems, Armor and Fire Support Systems, Ground Transportation and Engineer Systems, and Combat Equipment and Support Systems, on current and future acquisition and support endeavors. This is a great time to schedule follow-on appointments for 16-19 Sept with these product groups and their senior staff. Cost of the event is $125 per person and includes lunch, refreshments, and briefing materials. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Previous registrants need not resubmit a request. Deadline for registration is Monday, September 8, 2003.
