- Description
- The work includes providing all labor, transportation; supervision, materials and equipment and performing all operations in connection with the preventive maintenance and service of station elevators and dumbwaiter. THIS SOLICITATION IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310, and the small business size standard is $6 Million. The performance period is for a one-year period and includes two (4) one-year options. All responsible contractors may submit a quote, which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. All responsible bidders and plans rooms must register as plan holders on the website: http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil in order to receive a copy of this solicitation. This is not a public bid opening. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive/responsible bidder. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a), availability of this requirement will be limited to the electronic medium; this requirement will be available for viewing and downloading, free of charge, via http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Hard copies (paper sets) or a CD-ROM of this solicitation, or the plan holders? list will NOT be provided by the Government. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing and may be faxed to (928) 269-3557. No telephone (technical) questions will be accepted. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will only be posted on the website. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation. This solicitation will be made available for viewing and downloading approximately 28 August 2003. A tentative site visit date is set for 2 September 2003, 10:00 a.m. (local time). The closing date for receipt of quotes is tentatively scheduled for 12 September 2003, 3:00 (local time). NOTE: The apparent successful bidder must be registered in the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
