- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2, Webster Field St. Inigoes, Maryland is tasked to provide Software Engineering and Maintenance Services for the InterMaPhics software application to maintain high-performance user interface for the AN/TPX-42A (V) 14 FC2 project. This support service shall directly support the Air Traffic Control Processing & Display (ATC P&D) Branch. The service shall be performed at Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Webster Field, St. Inigoes, Maryland 20684. The applicable NAICS is 51120 and the SIC code is 7372. The size standard is 21 million dollars. The contract type is anticipated to be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity with an estimated total level of 5,500 man-hours, (1,100 per year) over a period of five years. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Gallium Software Incorporated, 200-7825 Fay Avenue, La Jolla, CA 92037-4270. The period of performance is from the date of award through 30 September 2008. Gallium Software Incorporated is the original designer of the InterMaPhics software installed on the AN/TPX-42A (V) 14 system. Gallium Software Incorporated has the knowledge, experience and skills required to provide these services. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy the government agency requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts, shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone calls will be accepted. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
