- NA JTAMDO TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES: On behalf of the Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense Organization (JTAMDO), the Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCCW) is seeking potential contractors, who can provide engineering and technical support to JTAMDO. JTAMDO??????s mission is to defi ne, assess, conduct technical analysis, manage and develop joint operational concepts, architectures, technical demonstrations and capabilities assessments to guide the development of a joint/interagency/combined air and missile defense family of systems t hat provides Joint Force Commanders a dominant air and missile defense capability. The contractor will provide technical assistance to the JTAMDO staff in 1) planning, 2) evaluating, 3) analyzing, 4) executing, and 5) reporting for the following: 1) capab ilities assessments, 2) exercises and 3) demonstrations related to Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Air and Cruise Missile Defense (ACMD), Interagency Homeland Air Security (IHAS), Resources, Exercises and Liaison (REAL), and Operational Concepts, Architec ture & Interoperability (OCA&I). The eventual contract will consist of Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) non-personal services for approximately 85 to 120 man-year equivalents (MYEs) per contract period. The proposed period of performance will be for a base per iod of one year, with four (4) one-year options. Contract award is targeted for February 2004. The contract will consist of Government and contractor site personnel located at JTAMDO in Arlington, VA, Joint Combatant Commands and other DoD locations with all Government site personnel requiring a adjudicated TOP SECRET clearance and approximately 33% requiring TOP SECRET/SCI. Acceptable sources must be able to provide 90% of personnel with TOP SECRET clearances on date of contract award and at least 95% a pproximately 30 days after contract award. Approximately 95% of the personnel will be located at a Government site. All interested sources are invited to provide a description of their corporate capabilities and business size status. The purpose of this announcement is to advise interested parties of the pending competition for the acquisition described above and to solicit information regarding industry??????s interest in providing an offer. This announcement is meant to serve as a Market Survey, whic h will identify the size and socio-economic status of interested sources. Information provided will not be evaluated and shall not be construed as a request for proposal. Interested parties should continue searching the ASFI (FedBizOps) to obtain notice for the publication of any future soliciation notices.
