- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This purchase request (PR) will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under the following PR number F4AMSG31700100. (iii) This PR and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. (iv) This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small businesses in regards to size standards. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 5113 with a small business size standard of 100. The associated NAICS code is 422130. (v) This RFQ contains one (1) line item: 001 Baggage Tags. The quantity is 100 cases. Price will be submitted as follows: 0001 Baggage Tags, 100 Cases X $ (Unit Price) = $ (Total Price). Please provide the manufacturer and part number for the item you are quoting on. If there is any variation in the quantity per case, please provide a breakdown of quantity per case and adjust your quantity as necessary. (vi) Item must be compatible with Magnetic Ticket and Label Source Inc. Ticketing Machine, Model IER512C Baggage Tag Printer with Burster; Tag/Label Part Number 17067. Case=4000 labels (4/1000 flat form-fed stacks). The size of the label is 19.125 in X 2.1/8 in. (vii) Delivery will be FOB Destination at the following location: 735th AMS/TRP 855 O?Malley Blvd, Hickam AFB, HI 96853-5132. Delivery of items must occur by 30 September 2003. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers?Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The purchase order will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value based on price and delivery. (x) A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items, must be provided with each offer. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition without addenda. (xii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders?Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Award can only be made if registration status is current. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following additional clauses of paragraphs (a) and (b) are incorporated: 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program; 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. FAR Clause 52.252-1, Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference.
