- Description
- Furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to renovate portions of Building 200 on 2 East, 3 West, and 6 North at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center, Togus, Maine for the Ambulatory Surgery Project. Work to include but not limited to, general construction, electrical, mechanical, and alterations in Bldg. 200. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with plans and specification. Completion time: 420 calendar days. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required in the form of a cashiers check, money order, or company check, made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. All requests for plans and specifications must be in writing to the Contracting Officer (BSL1), Attn: Michael LeClair, Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center, Togus, Maine. Plans and specifications shall be available on or about 8/22/2003. Only one (1) set of bid documents will be issued each bidder. Bid documents will be available on a first come first service basis (only 60 sets will be available). A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on September 3, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. local time in the Engineering Conference Room, 2nd floor, Bldg. 202 at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical and Regional Office Center, Togus, Maine. There will be only two scheduled walk throughs for subject project. Dates and times will be referenced in bid package. Bid opening will be held on September 24, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. local time in bldg. 206, 2nd floor, Room 216. All bids must be submitted to Bldg. 206, 2nd floor, Room 201 where they will be time and date stamped prior to bid opening. NAICS Code: 233320. Construction Cost Range: Between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000.000. NOTE: BID DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE VIA THE WEB. INTERESTED BIDDERS MUST REQUEST PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION.
