- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) has a sole source requirement with Lighting Sciences, Inc. of Scottsdale, Arizona, for the creation and installation of an on-site photometric test facility. Lighting Sciences is uniquely qualified for this effort because of their combination of in-house expertise, testing and development facilities, extensive knowledge of aviation lighting testing and photometrics, and existing equipment to readily complete the required effort. Based upon the above, Lighting Sciences is the only source capable of providing the required effort. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If there are any vendors that do not agree with this sole source determination, please provide evidence of your firm's capabilities and experience in providing the above services and the FAA will evaluate the information accordingly. All responses to this announcementmust be directed to: Chris Gallagher, Contracting Officer, via e-mail. Any/all capabilty statements must be received no later than 3:00, August 18,2003.
