- Description
- The proposed acquisition is from the Small Business Administration (SBA) using competitive procedures under the authority of Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, has a requirement for Technical Security System Support Services. These services include program management, design, engineering, installation, maintenance, and repair for various technical security systems. The NAICS code is 561621 with the small business threshold of $10.5M (average annual receipts). The number of personnel required is approximately 250. The Department of State intends to post a Request for Proposals to FEDBIZOPPS on approximately August 26, 2003. An IDIQ time and material contract for one year with four option years is anticipated. The solicitation will be limited to firms with current 8(a) designation by the Small Business Administration.
