- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis with QUALCOMM, Inc., 5775 Morehouse Drive, San Diego, CA for the (1) annual renewal of the maintenance agreement which provides updates, upgrades and technical support of the NIST-wide Eudora e-mail system and (2) Add-On Licenses necessary to accommodate the expanded number of Eudora users. QUALCOMM manufactures the Eudora software and is the only source for Add-On Licenses, as well as the updates, upgrades and technical support provided by the maintenance agreement. No solicitation is available. This small purchase (NTE $100K) is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. Any responses to this notice must be submitted in writing to Doris Turner, Purchasing Agent, by e-mail (preferred) at Doris.P.Turner@noaa.gov, or via fax at (303) 497-3163 no later than August 29, 2003. The anticipated award date is September 2, 2003.
