- DSCP is hereby conducting market research to identify sources of a commercial off-the-shelf (or modified commercial off-the-shelf) portable, low powered, cooling and storage device used to transport blood products to wounded combatants while maintaining critical temperature range of the blood products to the point of use. This RFI will be posted on the Procurement Gateway. Prospective suppliers and manufacturers are requested to submit their product's technical dscription, part number(s) (all encompassing nomenclature), technical literature and specifications to include at a minimum: sources of supply (if not the manufacturer); your machine's chief attributes; exterior color; life expectancy; warranty; special tools required for repair/calibration; unit price and product availability. Also, indicate how your unit keeps blood from freezing when the ambient temperature is below freezing. Additionally, the Government needs to know of any support items required and their prices.
