Description

The U. S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command-Atlantic (flp) intends to procure Sole Source, 26 each, pocket size, belt-mounted Voice Response Translator (VRT) with megaphone. The VRT includes a free 5-year warranty, software upgrades, and programming of Arabic, Creole, French, and Spanish languages, law enforcement and U. S. Coast Guard-specific phrases, and user?s on-site training. The intended purchase is a propriety product of the Integrated Wave Technologies, Inc. of Fremont, CA. This procurement will use Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 and Policies in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334290 and Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees.
