Description
DESC: The purpose of this special notice is to provide information to assist in planning and to locate additional sources of product and service by providing advance estimates of future requirements for The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Detention and Removal plans to acquire and operate Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems for use in a variety of operational areas including but not limited to: hearings, consular interviews, interviews in state or local detention institutions, case interviews by Deportation officers, training, management meetings and special operations briefings. Procure a video teleconferencing package whereby the vendor provides the full scope of service in the procurement, installation, and maintenance of all required VTC equipment, and all of the communications lines and interface hardware. The vendor shall provide one-stop maintenance and customer support for all facets of the procured service. The vendor shall pay any monthly recurring service charges from local telephone company. Vendor shall submit separate line item service contract quotes for 12, 24, and 36-month increments respectively, to allow Government to determine and select the best value to the Government. All responses to this document must address each defined requirement, and should follow the same outline format and numbering scheme to assist in evaluation of the proposal. A line item response to this Statement of Work is required in order to be considered responsive to this request. All responses shall itemize costs for equipment, installation, and labor, and will reflect total purchase price and a cability statement. Provide a detailed description of the system security, i.e., encryption standards. A hands-on demonstration may be required in Dallas, TX metropolitan area, prior to award of contract. All responses shall provide a detailed breakout of all systems components. Any responses not submitting this data shall be considered non-responsive. A technician, certified by the manufacturer of the system quoted, shall be located within a 'next business day' response time of each site at which the system is located. While the estimates are based on the best information available, the information is subject to modification and is in no way binding on the Government. Interested parties should consider the information contained in this special notice and assesses their potential to provide the anticipated requirement.
