- Description
- The Social Security Administration, Region X, Office of Hearings and Appeals has a requirement for contractors to provide folder assembly services on an as needed basis. The work will be performed in Seattle and Spokane, Washington and Portland and Eugene, Oregon. The work consists of reviewing case files, selecting proposed exhibits, marking/numbering exhibits and preparing exhibit lists. Orientation/training session will be provided for contractor and/or contractor employees on the preparation of the case file. All contractors and/or contractor employees will be required to pass a security background check before cases can be given to the contractor. Multiple awards are expected as a result of this solicitation. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 561499 with a size standard of $6 million. The acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Only offers from individuals or business concerns that qualify as a small business will be accepted. The solicitation is scheduled for release on or about August 18, 2003 and interested parties should download the solicitation from the FBO web page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. COPIES OF THE RFQ WILL NOT BE MAILED. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted.
