- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042-5001 plans to use a Time and Material, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to procure on an other than full and open competition basis Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) from Rolls Royce Corporation, PO Box 420, Indianapolis, IN 46202-0420 in support of various Fleet and shore activities for the Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Command (NATEC). This effort includes proficiency training and technical guidance for Navy Personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of all models of the T56 engine to include the T56-14, T56-427, T56-25, T56?A-15, turboprop power plants and associated equipment. The effort will be performed primarily at NATEC facilities in Norfolk, VA. Rolls Royce is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment to be supported. No other firm possesses the required software and technical representatives with expertise on these systems. The Government does not possess the required data, knowledge of equipment modification, or engineering expertise. Total period of performance is five years with the award of the contract expected on 1 November 2003 and continuing through 31 October 2008 if all options are exercised. The contract will include the clause at FAR 52.217-8, ?Option to Extend Services? Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
