- The U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, intends on awarding a sole source contract to Integrated Controls, Albuquerque, New Mexico for the below listed requirement. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 under the authority and Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement for the acquisition to expand its integrated access control, alarm monitoring, and photo ID badging system. This project will utilize existing certified Software House software, equipment, and materials. This sole source award will be made to ensure that all items are compatible and interchangeable with the present system. Complete hardware and software compatibility is essential to the functioning and performance of the total system development. Integrated Controls is the only source that can ensure continuity of efforts and analysis. Integrated Controls is also a Software House Certified Dealer with CCURE800 certification. No solicitation will be issued. The anticipated award date is August 29, 2003. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
