Description
The purpose of this notice is to identify qualified sources for the supply of a High Performance Computing Cluster. A configuration of compute nodes and master node capable of running Fluent, Inc. Fluent software in a highly parallelized configuration to include mother boards, memory, processors, power supplies, UPS, direct access disk storage, high speed networking, cooling system and administration and configuration software. Minimum configuration shall include: 32 Intel pentium Xeon 3.06 Ghz 512K L2 cache processors 1 Gb per processor/32 Gb total Random Access memory 20 Gb DASD per processor 800 Gb SCSI 15K RPM user storage Rack mountable compute node chassis Myrinet-2000 High speed fiber/PCIX 2Mb network interface and cabling Myrinet stand-alone 16 port switch with Fiber ports Uninterruptable Power Supply to support all compute nodes and master Rack-mount 15in. LCD monitor, Keyboard, and mouse Qlogic Fiber Channel controller SAN Blade 2300 single port Dual port Gigabit Ethernet controller DVD-CD-ROM drive Rack and Rack mounting hardware to contain all configured equipment Cluster management software to monitor: cluster performance,CPU usage, disk I/O, file system usage, kernel & OS information, load, memory usage, network information & bandwith, swap usage, etc. Power Management, Temperature Monitoring, for each individual compute node On-site installation, integration, and training 12 month full support service contract to include 1 year hardware warranty, unlimited online support, automatic software update notification, 24 hour parts replacement Shipping and delivery to end user site. Responses will be evaluated by the Government and will be used to augment the Bidder's Mailing List. A notice in Federal Business Opportunities will be issued prior to the release of the solicitation.
