- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is F61775-03-Q-2253 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12. This acquisition is unrestricted. Funds for this acquisition are available. The U.S. Air Force 48 Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order for: CLIN 0001: Gas Operated Ventilation Fan 16?, P/N EM0703BCFAN, OR equivalent. 2 Ea CLIN 0002: Onan 6000 Watt Diesel Portable Generator, P/N EM0703BCGEN, OR equivalent. 1 Ea CLIN 0003: Petromax Multifuel Lantern w/ Training Video, Top Reflector and Carrying Case, P/N EM0703BCLAN, OR equivalent. 2 Ea CLIN 0004: Optimus Nova Multi Fuel Stove w/ Bottle, Toll and Carrying Case, P/N EM0703BCOOK, OR equivalent. 2 Ea CLIN 0005: Portable Water Tank 2500 Gallons, P/N EM0703BCTANK, OR equivalent 2 Ea CLIN 0006: Binoculars w/ rang Finders Bushnell, P/N EM0703BCBIN, OR equivalent 1 Ea CLIN 0007: Disarming Toll for Ejection Seat, P/N EM0703BCDT, OR equivalent 2 Ea CLIN 0008: Curtis/Bul Thermal Imager, Lime Yellow, w/ Direct Charger System, 2 Rechargeable Batteries, AC/DC Adapters, Shoulder and Wrist Strap, CD and Carrying Case, P/N EM0703BCMX, OR equivalent 1 Ea CLIN 0009: Curtis/LPCR Plus AED, P/N EM0703THLFAED, OR equivalent 1 Ea CLIN 0010: Curtis Custom Tool Kit, P/N EM0703THFTK OR equivalent 1 Ea CLIN 0011: Curtis/SKED basic Rescue Package, P/N EM0703TH200S OR equivalent 1 Ea Delivery date for all items: 10 Oct 2003. Location is 100 CES/CERF, Civil Engineers, RAF Mildenhall United Kingdom IP28 8NG. Far provision at FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, applies to this requirement. If quote is for an ?equal? product, specifications of the item must be included in quotation. Far provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: paragraphs (h) and (i) of this provision do not apply and change paragraph (c) from 30 calendar days to 60 calendar days. Far provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this RFQ with the following addenda: Paragraph (a) is filled in with (1) Price and (2) Technical Capability of the item to meet the Government needs; paragraph (b) does not apply. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, without addenda and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, without addenda, applies to this acquisition (including: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52,222.37and 52.232-33). AS OF 31 MAY 1998, ALL CONTRACTORS WISHING TO DO BUSINESS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE ARE REQUIRED TO BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRY. IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO REGISTER AND/OR CONFIRM THAT ALL INFORMATION IN THE REGISTRY IS ACCURATE AND COMPLETE.
