- F33601-03-T-0218, MICROWAVE RECEIVER: NAICS Code 334515, and Size Standard 500 employees. This is a Sole Source procurement. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). The proposed source is Vicon Motion Systems, Lake Forest CA. The item being procured is a microwave receiver with the following options: second selectable center frequency IF output, front instrumentation control panel, IEEE-488 remote control interface, RS-232 PC compatible remote control interface, extended frequency coverage from 0.5 GHz to 0.1 GHz, extended frequency coverage from 18 GHz to 22 GHz, a third IF output with selectable gain control, AM video (level controlled) and audio, 160 MHz FM demodulation and up to 7 corresponding IF BW filters, and I/Q outputs detected at 160 MHz.. This synopsis is being published for information purposes only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received within 5 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
